Dhanam

Dhanam is a Malayalam action thriller film released in 1991, directed by Sibi Malayil and written by A. K. Lohithadas. The story revolves around Sivasankaran Nair, portrayed by Mohanlal, a debt-ridden medical representative whose family properties are mortgaged due to a loan taken by his deceased father. Siva dreams of financial stability and a better life for his family. His life takes a turn when he contemplates turning in a group of smugglers for a monetary reward, hoping to solve his financial woes. However, this plan goes awry, leading to intense conflict as the smugglers seek revenge.
