Vellanad Narayanan

Vellanan Narayanan was a poet and lyricist in Malayalam cinema and theatre. He received the Gurupuja Puraskaram from the Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi. He began his career as a water authority official. In cinema, he wrote the song "Ninne Punaran Neettiyen Kalkalil" for the film "Saraswatiyamam." He composed songs for 12 films including "Paurusham," "Velichamillatha Veethiyil," and "Mookuthi."
